This book is a remarkable blend of Irish mythology, character depth, and sweeping worldbuilding. The author draws from the ancient cycles of the Tuatha De Danann, the Fir Bolg, and the Fomorians, but he does not simply retell old stories. He expands them with care, insight, and a strong sense of living history. The result is a narrative that feels both ancient and new.
Twilight of the Tuatha Dé is a gripping reimagining of Celtic myth that immediately hooked me.
The author did an excellent job describing battles, storms, and characters. I especially liked how the characters felt layered and believable, with motivations that made sense even during tense moments. The pacing stayed engaging, and the writing style was descriptive without becoming confusing or overwhelming.
